The story of PanElios
In the rolling hills of Umbria, the story of PanElios Borgo Vacanze takes shape thanks to the vision and love of our family. It all started with grandfather Elio and grandmother Rina, two souls tied to the land, farmers at heart. After almost fifty years of dedication to the fields, they had an enlightening idea: to transform that piece of paradise into a place of hospitality and beauty.

The fascinating story of this extraordinary adventure begins with Elio, a man with a deep connection to the land and an innate entrepreneurial spirit. It then continued with his sons Paolo and Nazzareno, who in the 1960s and 1970s were helped by their grandfather to pursue a dream of theirs: to grow a new business in the furniture and household appliance trade. A few years later, PanArredi’s resources were strategic for first thinking about and then realising the transformation of PanElios from a sharecropping estate to the holiday village it is today.
The name ‘PanElios
In the heart of the Umbrian countryside, my grandparents dreamed of sharing the beauty of their world, transforming their agricultural heritage into something extraordinary. From this dream came the idea of creating an enchanting refuge, a place where others could immerse themselves in the serenity of the Umbrian countryside. The name ‘PanElios’ already held within it the affection for my grandfather Elio, but also the desire to offer visitors a complete experience of the wonders that Umbria has to offer. The dedication and passion of all of us gradually transformed the land into what it is today: an authentic holiday village.

Maximilian and the PanElios Family
For 16 years now, the story has been intertwined with one of the sons of the third generation, Massimiliano: the guardian of the family tradition and the spokesman of a precious legacy left by his grandparents. A sommelier and a great cycling enthusiast, he enthusiastically embraced the project, carrying forward their vision and enriching it with energy and creativity, helping guests to fully enjoy the area’s splendid natural resources.
